About Revamp & its Founder, Marcy Pettersen
In 2017, Marcy started watching HGTV shows such as Fixer Upper and Flea Market Flip. It was then she developed a passion for “farmhouse” and “vintage” styles. Marcy also admired people who took vintage items and transformed them into new furniture and decor pieces.
Marcy began shopping at various vintage fairs and believed that she could make some of the products that vendors were selling. Finding random items and transforming them into unique decor pieces became a favorite activity for her.
Soon after, she started making decor for her own home. As she was creating, Marcy realized she enjoyed the process of repurposing items. Eventually, she created so many pieces she began selling to friends and family. Marcy then founded Revamp in 2018.
